First day to Peterhof with wonderful young, energetic tour guide. Planned to visit Catherine's Palace the second day but thought two castles were too much so changed and did the city tour. We had free time for shopping and food. Our guide was difficult to understand due to her accent and some rude guests in the back of the bus who wouldn't shut up

The hermitage was impressive but way too crowded and hot. Our guide kept losing some of our group because she walked too fast for some of the older people and she failed to keep our group number sign up. Very frustrating.

We loved what what we did get to visit, wish we had more time for the Heritage. The problem was leaving the port, we missed our next destination.

Our favorite! We did a boat tour and the church of the spilled blood (indescribable) and Catherine's palace the second day. Excellent guides, higbly recommend both

Tours did not offer enough bathroom breaks or leisure time.

Have to take the tour unless you have a visa. Recommend booking private tour as it really cannot cost much more and you can see much more. Tour only took us to 1 church and the Hermitage. Then we had to do a group lunch and shopping.
