St Petersburg was not as fabulous as I thought/hoped it would be. Oppressive. I've given 5 stars to 1 of the 2 tours we did. We did the Hermitage visit in the early evening, followed by a classical music recital. Fantastic!! So unlike the visits we heard about from other passengers who did the Hermitage tours during either of the days. Our guide was very good, but the BIG deal was that there were less people in the evening and we were never made to feel we couldn't linger and take it at a slow pace. Wonderful!!! Defo worth seeing. Other passengers doing tours during the day complained of being rushed through each of the rooms, having to keep walking. The concert was professional and beautifully executed and lasted about 1 hour. The tour ended with a glass of Russian Champagne. Delicious!

THE BEST, the two days excursions were incredibles, is the best of the best , only that I thought we were going to have tipical food like in Berlin but the food was just food. The museum, the palaces even the weather were very good.
