Everything it's cracked up to be, extending far beyond just the Hermitage. People unfriendly and cold. Choices of food were okay, if you shopped or knew your guide. We had a private tour and did well.

The musuems of arts. Again we would have visited more places but it rained heavy for two nights continuously which spoiled the tours. Must give credit to the guide for her exceptional historical knowledge of the city and its attractions.

Guide the first day was not so good. No time to shop. Would not go to Catherine's palace as it is shabbily finished. Rough.
