We did a trip to the Nevesky Prospect (cheapest one) our guide was nice and knowledgable. We were able to walk around and wander at our leisure here . Russia was very clean but ppl did not appear very happy .

We did our own non-Celebrity excursion. Amazing city. Would not have wanted to be gay there, as I know storied of people being harassed for that. Russia is very intolerant right now. But no denying how incredible the port is and the city. We spent the most there, frankly, on awesome and unique gifts.

2 days just chocked full of thisngs to see and hear. Ballet at night and 2 full days of palaces, museums, cathedrals, information, boat ride and metro ride. Whew! We needed a day at sea to recover!

We saw the golden dome of St. Isaac’s Cathedral. It was magnificent. Peter and Paul Cathedral. The cathedral was a magnificent building with a tall gold spire. We stopped and walked around the magnificent onion domed Church of Our Saviour on Spilled Blood. A beautiful church.
