When short in time: just stay in Rotterdam! Go to the Markthal, Euromast, Fenix Food Factory, SS Rotterdam, Cube Houses, Boijmans Museum - lots to do!

Bike and Bite tour (found it on Trip Advisor) was excellent. Saw a lot of the city sites as well as eating food!

We didn't see rotterdam much we decided to take an excursion to Amsterdam but due to traffic we only had 30 mins of our own to explore Amsterdam. I wish we had more time there to explore on our own

The city centre is about 10 minute walk from where the ship docks or you can always get a river taxi which I think is like €8

They have a metro system, bus, taxi and uber. They love to walk. Remember it is one of the great ports of Europe so it willbe industrial. But the restaurants are great and the architecture is cool ! I would have liked to use the hop on Hop off bus, but the rain discouraged me.

We toured Keukenhof Gardens which was absolutely amazing! The tulips were in full bloom and it was just beautiful.

We took an organised tour to the Kinderdijk Windmills. The drove there was very picturesque along with the boat ride to get a close up view of them. The site is very peaceful and relaxing.
