The sights are really spread out. We took the Hop on Hop Off bus. I think I wouls have liked 2 days at this port.

Went to Christmas House in Drobak and then had a short city tour; guide was very good and willing to go beyond the prescribe itinerary to accomodate visitor's request

A great place to see some tall ships. You can easily walk from the ship to the main sights. Get a map at the tourist Info center.

Again, easy to get around. Ship docks right by the castle and city hall. Tram number 12 a 3 minute walk from the ship takes you right to Vigeland Sculpture park. Return to city center and you can walk to every other major site. A ferry takes you to the Viking Ship Museum.

Possibly the wrong time to visit, straight after a Pride march, lots of barriers etc still up and rubbish laying around, although cleaning was in progress.
