Docks right in the heart of the city centre. Hop on hop of bus outside the terminal is very expensive we learnt afterward there is a ferry near where ship dock to take you over to where all main museums are for much much cheaper. Loved Oslo would of liked a lot more time here or even an over night as so much to see and do. Don't miss the vigeland sculpture park!

Great port as you can walk directly into town and don’t need a shuttle or tender

What a great city. Took the Ho-ho (book online and get a discount) and had a wander. Stopped at the palace to walk up the hill and see the guards. Great view back down the hill. Moved on to the longship museum after that - very atmospheric and definitely worth the visit. Loads of other stuff to do but just ran out of time. We will return one day 😀

Oslo is a decent city to visit. Oslo card is useful for transportation and museums. Oslo is a very walkable city. Fram museum and folk museum are recomended. Vigeland sculpture park is also excellent on a fine day

Small city. Easy to walk around. We took a ferry to Bygdoy island. We visit the Fram museum, I highly recommend to visit this museum. Our cruise ship was docked only for a few hours so we couldn't do all we wanted to see. Can wait to visit Oslo again.

Loved Oslo. We did another best of tour through Princess after enjoying Stockholm’s. good tour but only a so so tour guide. Went back to the ship for lunch then back out to explore the palace, opera house and castle/fort on our own.

Our tour took us basically to 2 museums - Thor Heyerdahl and the Vikings. While both these museums were quite interesting, they left me with little sense of the city itself and the people. Although we got back to the ship early, our tour leader was not willing to stop the bus downtown and let some of us off to just enjoy Oslo.

The cruise terminal is just a short walk from the city centre so we did it ourselves. Visited the National Gallery to see The (original) Scream. Did a little touristy train ride which was £15 each and not really worth it, we saw much more on foot. Had a coke and a Panini at a city centre cafe, very nice and not too pricey. Spent. Five hours walking around and seeing the sights the Opera house is also pretty amazing. Lovely city.
