Picture perfect of course. However as it’s impossible to come to Norway without visiting Gerainger this was our third visit - once independently. How it has become built up for tourism, you have to fight your way off the boat and past all the tourist buildings! But the waterfall is still impressive and you can walk out beyond where most tourists stop for coffee. Perhaps the approach is better than the stop-off.

Our favorite port! Went on the winter farm excursion and was hosted by a Norwegian goat farmer and family for coffee and Norwegian pancakes. Then went to summer farm to learn about "brown cheese" and goat farming. Best excursion of the trip because my husband's grandmother's family were farmers in Norway in the late 1800s.

We took the hop on hop off bus to the top - amazing views. We then took next bus to the Fjord centre and walked back down from there alongside the waterfall. Quite breathtaking

A lovely port with shops just off the ship. Very quaint and pretty. We went on the hop on hop off bus which cost £30 each. Only 3 stops so very expensive really.

It’s difficult to describe how beautiful this area is. Every scene like a postcard. We took a bus tour and later walked up the trail to the top of a waterfall. Breathtaking!

Geiranger is absolutely stunning! Our shore excursion took us up the Eagle road, with 12 hairpin turns and great views of the valley at the top! We then went up Dalsnibba mountain which has sensational views of the fjord.
