Simply breathtaking, my favourite of all the fjords. Great little area for shopping and a lovely museum with some great artefacts and historical photos.

Amazing place. It was wet when we were here but the waterfall trail is worth doing and doesn’t cost anything 👍. It’s a steep walk but totally awe inspiring when you get to the top. Then simply follow the road back down rather than taking the stairs.

This was our favourite port. Great shops, friendly locals and the waterfall which is within walking distance of ship was amazing.

Our own thing here, and really enjoyed the shopping and the views are stunning, we even found a very nice chocolate shop... we did get a bit wet though.

We had very nice weather. We didn't take an excursion but rather walked around the place on our own. There is a beautiful waterfall very near the port only about ten minutes of walk.There are stairs that you can take to the top and have a fantastic view of the fjord. Go and visit the chocolate shop because their hot chocolates are the best!

My absolute favorite port. Took a tour up into the mountains and it was absolutely lovely. The countryside was pure, scenery was breathtaking, and we got to throw some snow around at the top! Magnificent!

This was by a very far margin, our favorite port during out cruise. It really helped that we had blue skies and temps in the mid to upper 60s. The ride into Geiranger from Hellesylt is simply breathtakinly beautiful - from the numerous waterfalls, huge Fjord formations, and snow capped mountain tops to a cute and quaint little Norwegian town - stupendous! We did the Eagle Road (twisty turny switchback) to views that were amazing, along with a bus drive up to Dalsnibba Mountain that was also a bit of an adrenalize boost with its winding roads that got us up to 1100 meters high. Unfortunately, due the the signficant snow at the top, we were unable to get to the 1500 meter mark. However, this was, by far, one of the most amazing pieces of earth that we have ever witnessed. The photo ops were everywhere and were all very inspiring to see.
