Get there early to avoid the crowds. Amber on sale everywhere. Euro accepted in market stalls and restaurants.

We toook the history tour which was interesting. The tour guide was wonderful, but the places we went were not very interesting. An extreme amount of walking.

The city is a certain distance from the ship and the tour was short. but worthwhile. This is true of many visits. But it is acompromise for an intensive port visits.

The biggest surprise--we loved this city! We did OE Panoramic Gdansk and our guide was very good. So much history in this city and it was beautiful.

Docked at Gdnya which was 20Km away. Not very interested to see anything so just had a good brisk walk, saw some nice ships and the market.
