I was under the impression that the train took us to the center of Cork, but it was a 10 min. walk to the main area and wasn't well marked. But I did enjoy the area. We didn't do an excursion in this port.

This is the first port after 7 days at sea. We were confined to our cabin because of food-borne illness and had to miss the port.

Quaint. Very welcoming. Lots to see and do. Blarney castle excursion. Minimum time needs to be 6 hours

We took a shore excursion to Kinsdale and were unimpressed--very crowded with tourists and no place to walk along the shoreline.
