Very interested place with a unique history. I would definitely visit here again and spend more time. I wish we were at this port for longer. We took a hop on/hop off bus tour and went to the city center and also the blue grotto. I would highly recommend doing the boat tour of the blue grotto for 8 euros per person. It's pretty amazing to see from above but even more surreal to see from the boat. It's about 30 minutes but you get to go into the caves.

Excellent port. The set of many movies. And those who visited Valletta know why. Don’t take a tour. But walk to the escalator that will take you to the upper garden. From there on wander the streets down to the harbor.

Beautiful views as you are coming into port. We took the hop on and off bus and went to the Blue Lagoon. The bus ride took about 45 mins to 1 hour and takes you to the other side of the island. The bus pickup was every 45 minutes. We needed to book a ferry ride to get to the Blue Lagoon and we decide to just catch the next bus back to the city. We had lunch in the city and headed back to the ship. We should have spend our day visiting the city area of Valetta instead heading out to the Blue Lagoon.

Port was good. Did the Three Cities and a Boat Ride. Was very interesting. Amazing it was 3 actually 4 cities all in view just across the water from each other. 6 person boat ride was great with a very informative fun guide.
