It's a shame Viking chose this random city over the better known Palermo. Why they did it, I have no idea, maybe bc it's cheaper? Big disappointment.

Buy some of their salt. It comes in a variety of combinations, with oregano, infused with wine, or just plain.

loverley Sicilian town which takes you back in time.we sat in a local bar and watched the world go by .weather hot even in the shade.recomend walking among the old streets it's a must.

We used a private guide Mimmo from yours by locals. We did not have enough time but a great port. We saw Segesta and Eric’s and sampled sicilian food. We had to tender st the last minute so lost an hour and a half here

A new destination for us. We did an excursion to taste Marsalla wine then a trip around the nearby saltpans. The wine tasting was ok but the boat trip was around an island in the lagoon and there was little imput at all with regard to the salt making. Somewhat disappointing. The town itself was quite pleasant.
