We loved Sorrento, did a walking tour. The town was very quiet for an August day. Very relaxed compared to Rome and Milan. Enjoyed cold drinks and people watching

Pompeii was exceptional. Be ready and capable for some serious walking over uneven surfaces. Our guide (Ugo) was great.

Beautiful little town with fabulous views once you’ve made the climb up the hill to get there! (There is an elevator).

We took the tour to Pompeii and found it extremely interesting. We also had time to walk around Sorento which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Rented a boat for the day from MBS Blu Charter. Skipper was Sebastiano. Fantastic! He suggested an itinerary--went to Positano, Capri, green and blue grotto, arch, had lunch on the less crowded south harbor of Capri. Drinks and snacks, great music. Best day of the cruise.

Docked in Naples. Very busy port. Beware of cars, buses, scooters that will run you over if you are not careful and on alert at all times. Too many cruise ships in port in early Oct. Once in the towns of Capri explore off the beaten path. Lovely.
