Hired a transfer to and from central Athens (through PK Travel & Tours). Driver was excellent and we designated the meeting point for return back to ship. Started our day at the Acropolis. Was able to get there as they were opening with not too many people present. Had a wonderful time and the Parthenon is breathtaking. We moved on to the museum and was in a constant wow looking at all the amazing sites. After our time here we walked over to Plakka & Monestiraki area for some shopping and a amazing lunch at Thanasis Kebab. The staff was attentive and fast. They were so sweet with my 5yr old daughter and made the time extra special. We even had time to stop into the beautiful Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens.

Yellow bus hop on hop off with city tour tickets was worth every penny. Spent about 80$ US and saw everything we wanted. The bus picked us up at the port 8am dropped us off 430pm. Was perfect.

We got a Taxi to do the sites including changing of the guard at the presidents palace

We found a tour at the dock. It was fantastic and half the price than those available through the cruise line.

Fantastic city; lots to do and see; perfect ending to our cruise. Had an excellent private guide to take us to the sights including acropolis & museum.

We had been here before and my wife did not feel up to doing the steps up to the Acropolis so she stayed on board. I did the Acropolis, the Parthenon, Mars Hill, Temple of Zeus, Old Stadium, Plaka, and out to the Poseidon Temple. Loved the spot where the Poseidon Temple had been built. I had not been there and it was the highlight of the day.

Yes, shore excursion to the Acropolis was great - guide again was overly detailed for time allotted for the tour.

Did not have an excursion booked here. Did the hop on hop off bus first day and relaxed on ship the second day

Booked a private tour. Sun Express bus. Brilliant. Acropolis was amazing and had a great lunch in Plaka.
