Beautiful city with wide avenues, gardens, palaces. Much better than you'd expect looking at the Strada Statale 1 bridge from the ship. There's also the aquarium right next door at the old harbor.

Took a boat excursion down the coast to visit Camogli, Santa Margherita, and Portofino. Camogli was the most interesting and Portofino the most attractive. However, none of the places were wildly different from one another and none of them held any long-term appeal beyond eye candy.
