I traveled there by train from Rome the day before. The one day and night I spent there was pleasant. My hotel was an easy walk from the train station. For 3 euros I took a bus from the train station that took me right to the Regal Princes.

Like an 1 hr / 1 hr 20min depending of traffic from port to city! Very beautiful city with very old and new architecture.

Clean small town but the main reason to visit would be to go to Rome 90mins away by coach or train

You need an excursion or other way to town. Long ride to Rome. Very nice but again a language barrier with the guide on Norwegian excursion.
