Did the NCL trip to town with all the blue roofs (Oiela?). LOTS of shops but tough walk for several of the seniors.

Reason we booked the trip in the first place. One of the now best memories of my life. We walked from fira to oia on trail. Made it four hours before stopping for pizza and taking a taxi. Seriously unreal amazing.

Port was fine but felt overly marketed vs. what we found here. You can take a donkey-taxi (which cruise did not recommend and I did not either) or walk up the 600 levels of steps / ~2000 actual steps (which I did, bring a bottle of water) or take the scenic lift (going down after was a great way to see what I had done :)

This island is stunning. This is where you will take so many pictures. Definitely have to visit Oia - that's the coolest. Public bus runs to Oia.
