Take the boat across the bay that links to a bus ride to the top of the volcano and visit both cities. Bring all the camera equipment you have because the photos are breathtaking.

The village of Oia is really stunning. Marvellous views and scenery. Lots of neat little restaurants and shops. Could have done without the wine tasting stop which provided too much repetitive information and not enough substance

Most beautiful of our visits. We did an excursion that included a tour of the old city and a trip to a winery. There was also a stop at a monastery on the highest peak of the island. Excellent views! Our tour guide was local and very good!

Walked up the hill. Never again, sharing with uncontrolled donkeys. Full of urine and excrement. Definitely get the cable car.

The excursions staff on the Pearl didn’t really have their act together. We were called for our tour 20 minutes late for our tour to the Charming Oia Village and you know how long it takes people to get downstairs, on and off buses, etc. So, we got started late, were rushed and then rushed back to the ship. There certainly wasn’t enough time to see a lot of blue domes, but you can see a few to be satisfied. I must say, it’s a beautiful place and just wish it wasn’t so rushed. Definitely need extra time and this tour would definitely allow for it time wise compared to all aboard time.
