Took a tour of the old town area and the monastery which was very good. However, it was also very crowded.

Easy to get around in this port by walking. Lots of touristy shops but some interesting history as well.

Not much here except shops and a very grainy beach.

By far our favorite port. If you are looking for a private tour that is personal for you, contact Michael, https://rhodesleisure.com/ Excellent!! He gave us the BEST tour. Our fellow cruisers were jealous!!!

What a wonderful and fascinating town! So many layers of history from its many centuries of different eras and rulers. Be sure to look into Rhodes's history before visiting. The shop owners are persistent but also extremely helpful and friendly. Neat to be so close to Turkey as well.

Self-directed. Think Game of Thrones but with great shopping and restaurants! And a Hookah bar. A GREAT day!

No excursion, walking distance to lots of boat cruises and historical sights. We walked thru the old walled part of the city to the newer part and shopped. Had time to return to the ship, change clothes and walk to the city beach. We got some chairs and an umbrella at the casino resort had beers and swam. Beautiful clear water, pebble beach with a diving platform. Had a great afternoon returned to the ship and got ready for dinner.

We rented car for the whole day for $35 and did our own site seeing it was well worth it instead of paying for an expensive excursion or cab fare.

The next time we go to Rhodes, I’m planning on taking an excursion to see more of the area. This is one thing that we didn’t do this trip. We chose to wander about and get lost, and that was in its own right enjoyable. Had a lot of fun did a lot of walking and ended up at a outside taverna , having some great Greek food. They servedme a giant beer. It was like a 55 gallon drum And that probably made the afternoon more enjoyable but Rhodes is one of my favorite places.
