Port ok - too many tour groups in a small confined area - hard to move around.

We took a hop on hop off bus, which they only left you get off on one spot. That was at the shopping area. The places they took us were nice, but it would have been nice to get off the bus to get pictures, but that wasn't possible

Just a stroll around the ruins is enough.

The old town and palace were fun to explore. We also got out further into the modern city that was lively and full of good restaurants and shops.

To me, Rhodes was just like an average Caribbean Island with a built up downtown and typical beaches. We went to one beach, and it was nice, but not special. I would try to avoid it in the future, but we had fun. The old town area at the port was actually the most interesting place to visit.
