One of our favorite stops on the trip. Rhodes had everything but you really need to do a tour that takes you all over the island.

The old town was less than a 5 minute walk from the ship and was lovely. We got away from the main area and had a coffee in a little B&B/coffee shop. It was so pretty and really clean. We did the tourist train which covered the new town which did not appeal to us, lots of high rise hotels packed in.

Enjoyed walking through this walled-in town, amongst the vendors.

Loved the Palace of the Knights and walking around this beautiful old city. We explored on our own, and found that to be more than sufficient. It's an easily walkable city.

Leave the tourist shops and restaurants and wander the old, historic streets. It is much more peaceful
