not for walking

The only cruise line tour we took and it was awful. Despite repeated assurance of being picked up from the tender landing spot, we waited on the pier for close to an hour. The guide literally read from a script and was incapable of walking and talking at the same time. As such, we were quite limited in what we could actually see in Delos and Mykanos. The tour concluded with the worst meal of the trip that Denny's would be ashamed of.

Small guided excursion was excellent and provided us a great port experience.

Don't miss Delos. If you buy tickets for cruise and guide at the port, it will cost you about 60-70 euro. (If you don't want a guide, the return boat ride is 22 euro). We bought in advance and paid about $100 per person.

The guide was wonderful. Loved the port and the island was beautiful.

The ports on the Greek isles are so small, they can't handle multiple cruise ships at once. Passengers are shuttled from the ship to the portside in waves and it takes forever. The Princess crew did not plan the logistics of this well
