Mykonos, Greece Port Reviews

This is a great port, however we didn’t have a wonderful experience with our excursion due to the tour guide.

Beautiful port and island. We really enjoyed our walking tour of the city and had an amazing dinner at a restaurant with the most beautiful views of the island and windmills.

Beautiful beach but extremely expensive.

Mykonos was beautiful. After breakfast at Taste, we ferried to "DELOS Birthplace of Artemis and Apollo" -- mostly an island of rocks and ruins. Our tour guide talked way too much and there was no time for self exploration. After an hour in, I just went back to the ferry and waited for my travel companion and others to return. It was way too hot to listen to her babble (about history I learned in junior high school) on with a dark sense of humor. Another Unesco site off my bucket list. Back in Mykonos, we found a restaurant which came highly recommended in which we delved into chicken gyros and lamb kebabs -- simply delish!

We did a walking tour of Mykonos. Our guide was very knowledgeable, however there are numerous tiny streets which are almost like a maze. We thought we were going to get lost a few times. Mykonos is a beautiful town with interesting architecture.

Went to Delos which was very interesting. Mykonos didn't live up to the hype.

The boat tenders could not handle the high winds. The disembarkation process was difficult because of a lack of communication. The person explaining all this had a thick Russian accent and was not very forthcoming. Departures were delayed by over an hour cutting into our excursions...A little better communications would have gone a long way to calming the passengers.

Not what we expected but had fun on the beach.

Went to Delos. The town was a little disappointing as all the shops were exactly the same and we were a little tired at that point. The excursion was great. Lunch was great with a view of the water. The windmills were interesting as well.
