Our excursion to the ancient city of Ephesus included a lunch at Palm Bay resort. It was an excellent buffet and worth doing.

This was one of our favorite porch. We booked an excursion, but not through the cruise and we used TripAdvisor, we had a private tour with an amazing tour guide. Emphasis is amazing however, wear comfortable shoes as it’s very hot and there’s an awful lot of walking. The only downside to the tour is that they stop off at the carpet factory and give you a tour which is interesting however, part of the tours to pitch on buying a carpet. We had a nice lunch and enjoyed our time. Part of the tour was also visiting the house of Mary, which was the Virgin Mary’s last home before she died, and we thought it was going to be around episodes but it’s actually way on the top of a mountain and it was very cool to see.

We went to the ancient city of Ephesus on this day. It is worthwhile to pay a little extra and see the Terrace Houses of Emphasis. For some reason, it won’t let me add the other ports. We did the Medieval Walking Tour on Rhodes. 5 Stars Went to the Archaeological Ruins of Knossos. 5+ Stars Ancient Nemea in Nafplio. 5 Stars Funicular Ride to Mount Lycabettus in Athens. 5 Stars

When you get off the ship, there is a tour agency that can set up a great tour for much cheaper than the ship

Book an independent private tour. Much cheaper and better. Good place to buy rugs and leather goods. Beware the hard sell on the "factory" tours.
