We actually had a friend pick us up and show us "her country" so we didn't spend much time in the port. We did walk around the tiny town and it is quite lovely!

Took ship excursion to Ljubljana - highly recommend! Beautiful and extremely interesting.

We did a ship excursion. It was pretty and we enjoyed our visit to the seaside town of Piran. We went up in the hills for tasting from local vendors. We don't drink wine so we didn't really have much to taste. The music was fun, though.

Lake Bled is worth spending more time in, like a long weekend. Not 45 mins. Too far from port to visit really. Ljubljana is a very forward thinking town.
