Lovely little town with plenty of shops and restaurants . Easy to get to the ancient Olympia site from here , apart from ship excursions buses and taxis are also available. Got a bit busy when another cruise ship arrived with another 3000 passengers.

Took an excursion to Olympia from here but found it very disappointing The ruins were very much in ruin & I think for the money charged was overpriced

Very small port with only 2 streets full of shops for tourists... The only reason to stop there is to go visit olimpya that is about 30km from there and you have to buy the excursion to go there or go by taxi...

The Olympia trip was excellent only spoiled by the lack of choice in the shopping option that was part of the trip. We were all taken into a very pricey jewellers for the hard sell.
