Make sure you carry toilet paper with you, there is none. Choose your excursion wisely, we (8) took the Easy Sightseeing tour. The stops are not all beneficial to learn about Cuba. Foe example, one is a street filled with items you could tell wasn't made on the island. Then the tour guide said if you want to buy cigars follow me, he lead us down a dark part of Morrow Castle, which we didn't get time to visit, he then goes behind the counter to sell/ bargain with us to buy cigars.. FYI the prices are the exact same at the port shop and at the port shop it includes a nice wood box We spent a lot of money to benefit the tour guide

I loved Havana and am ready to go back. My whole group (5 of us) all agreed Royal Caribbean did a great job with shore excursions and information before leaving the ship. Yes you need your own toilet paper. We did a bus tour and saw many amazing places. It's beautiful in a sad way. I recommend this port.

We went out on our own and had a 3 hour tour of the city in an old Chevy convertible. Excellent tour, very informative. The guide took us to Rosalia de Castro theater to make reservations for the evening. We are grateful for the guide's help, it was the best dinner show! We saw members of the Buena Vista Social Club perform, one was 96 years old and still singing! The dinner and drinks were not good, but we went for the music and were not disappointed at all.

Terminal is conveniently located in Old Havana. Customs is a breeze! Lots of great things to see, would have been nice to have more time there than another full day at sea. We did a car tour, a afro-cuban religions tour and went to the Tropicana. All were highly recommended. It was more expensive than we were expecting, bring about $200 per person per day...cash only!

We went on the RCL Bucket List excursion and it was great. Our tour guide Lazaro was extremely informative and engaged in his job. He was an inspiration to the future of Cuba, which he obviously loves.

Our chosen excursion was cancelled. Enjoyed seeing Hemingway house as had read about it. Had opportunity to get cigars and shop at market. We chose not to and went back to ship. REALLY enjoyed the artistic community with all the mosiac-ed buildings. Beautiful! Guide was very helpful and adjusted activity to meet desires of our group. Even agreed to mail postcards that had stamps, etc

We found Cuba to be very interesting .....the history was wonderful. The architecture of the buildings was beautiful. The shore excursion with the classic cars through shoreexcursions.com was NOT worth the $267 we paid for three of us, when we found out later we could have gone on a better tour for less than 1/4 the price. Live and learn.
