We did not book an excursion. We decided to walk around this port. Shops are a little further away in the port, but not too far; some is uphill. We visited the National Historic Site. Really cool to look around and take pictures from the top of the fort. Note: there is a CVS and a Walgreens right off the pier. Stop in to grab snacks/drinks, toiletries you forgot/used up; to bring back on the ship! By mid-vacation, I wanted some chips/nuts (we were also almost out of toothpaste) so I was happy we could bring some back!

We enjoyed Puerto Rico and the Puerto Rico favorites tour. We made a trip to the rainforest and Old San Juan. We toured the Spanish Fort and enjoyed some shopping to get hand crafted souvenirs from the locals.

We didn’t have the greatest weather on our visit so we didn’t schedule any excursion and wandered around on our own. We got of the ship and walked to the fort...It’s a short walk but some of it was uphill. We love the old fort...Being retired military, I can’t help exploding and learning how the troops did it back in the day. We spent the rest of our time walking around old town...Checking out the vendors. The GreatOz and I had to shake our heads at the electrical power grid in old town. The buildings are really close and the power lines run from building...Some buildings had multiple power lines coming in and out!
