We took a tour of Old and New San Juan. The bus we were in was a little hard to see out of, and it was overcast/rainy, but what we did see was beautiful or interesting. The garitas or sentry boxes in Castillo San Felipe del Morro smelled awful, but were amazing. Castillo de San Cristóbal was clean and beautiful from what I got to see of it (We only had 30 minutes-ish to walk around it)

Puerto Rico is beautiful. We spent the day exploring Old San Juan. We went to all the forts the capital and saw the the open air church where Ponce de Leon is buried.

We didn't book an excursion. We walked to Fort Morro, about 20 minutes from port. Great historical fort built by the Spanish in the 1500s. Great views from here. We then visited umbrella street, fortaleza st.
