Not my favorite port I have ever been to but it is beautiful. Rich with culture and history. Be prepared to do a lot of uphill walking to get anywhere by foot.

Having visited San Juan before, we decided to just walk around the Old Town. We walked the entire length of the Paseo de la Princesa, which takes you along the perimter of El Moro fort. It also takes your right to the door of San Juan. It is very nice. The old town itself looks to be back to normal. There is some damage here and there but you can't tell if it is from the hurricane or not. Several of the business right on the water front (across from the ship's pier) are not operating.

Loved the forts, blue cobble stones was gorgeous! The beauty of the cemetery was breathtaking in a memorable way. The "umbrella street" was very unique, different and amazing. Great idea to bring harmony to all. The church was absolutely just in awww. The details of the painting, architecture, symbolism and spirit was unbelievable amazing.

I did a self-guided walking tour of San Juan and it was 4 hours of awe inspiring walking, talking with the locals and picture taking and memories making.

We went out ofSan Juan it's beautiful!! Once you arrive take your stuff to your room eat lunch then get back off you don't have to be back on the boat until 8:30. Go to the corner right off the boat take a left wait on the trolley. It's free it will take around Old San Juan. It's well worth it.

Nice port. We did a walking tour through San Juan and a cooking lesson as well on this excursion. This was my kids' favorite excursion. Wonderful tour guide and the food and drink was great!

we did not take any excursions as we felt that those offered did not impress. We did walk around the old city and saw those sights and enjoyed that part of the trip with visits to the stores.

San Juan is San Juan. We didn't do an excursion this time, but walked around and toured the city... and ate some delicious food at two different restaurants.
