Paradise Island is connected to New Providence Island by a bridge. Cabbage Beach is one of about a half dozen public access beaches on that island, and it can be as packed as Junkanoo Beach is. For a less crowded with calmer water beach, ask the taxi driver to take you to Cable Beach.

Paradise island is the island that contains Atlantis and other developments. Cabbage beach is on the north side of the island. There is public access. you will know many people will comment on the rough surf and the undertow. this is not on a bay, this is the actual ocean front
