Yes, there’s shopping very close to the pier. But be prepared to be hassled. Most vendors are fine but a few can be aggressive

Lots of shopping and tons of people everywhere trying to get you to buy cheap Chinese crap everything from t-shirts to microwaves anything and everything can’t walk 3Ft without being harassed was even offered a puppy for 30$ I talked the guy down to 10$ before I told him I wasn’t interested
