I would consider doing a day pass at one of the resorts on paradise island. We prefer the RIU as it is adults only, has a nice beach, all you can eat and drink and has a very nice beach.

Cable is more relax and is close to Baha Mar. Cabbage is more open sea.

Cabbage Beach is a great place to sunbath and get cheapish rum drinks, but can have a wicked undertow while swimming. Have yet to have been to Baha Mar since the resort went in, but have been in that area when it was not a private area beach and sort of part of Cable Beach it was ok.Would have to see exactly what the resort includes w/ their day pass.

We went to Cabbage Beach last year. It was a $5 taxi ride that took about 20 minutes from the cruise pier. We paid about $100 to parasail 🪂 and loved it. We rented beach chairs for $10 and relaxed. The beach was crowded but nice. It was a fairly steep slope into the water. I would go again.

I was just at Cabbage Beach last week! It was beautiful. The waves were kind of big, so I would not go there with small kids. But for just my husband & myself, it was great. Don’t be scared to haggle on prices. For example, they said it was $15/beach chair. I offered $20 for 2, & they agreed.

I’ve gone there many times. The only think I don’t like are the huge waves 😩. Other than that it’s soooo fun! Junkanoo beach is nice as well. My vote would be Cabbage beach

We usually just walk around and hit Pirate Republic Brewing and the straw market and then find something to eat. By that time it is usually time to board

Cabbage Beach was the best part of Nassau when we went 4 years ago. It’s secluded., or was then. Has a natural reef for snorkeling. We took a taxi from the port. We are returning this summer.
