Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island) Port Reviews

While the island itself was beautiful, it was dirty, and the people were rude. You couldn’t just walk around and enjoy yourself, someone was always in your face.

The excursion dept told us if we didn't pay for a lounger we would have to look for a bench to sit on. Biggest waste of $60! There were at least 200 nice lounge chairs with umbrellas, some under trees for FREE! The water either thick with sea weed or the waves were so strong they knocked you over. Bring water shoes to finagle the rocks on your way into the water.

BEAUTIFUL!!!! The only bad thing was the marketplace on how super pushy the natives were for their booths to sell items, I mean it was pretty bad and they wouldn't take no for an answer... You have to definitely stand your ground.. I highly recommend the sip and paint excursion.. it's so much funand the labadoozies are delicious!!! You get to paint a plate or a pot as a souvenir that the locals make!!!

I had no expectations going into the port. I came away genuinely impressed. It was a nice and relaxing day. I enjoyed every moment of it. Relaxing at the beach and not having vendors harass you is such a nice change of pace from the last all inclusive beach I was at. The food wasn’t bad and I felt as if they made the alcoholic drinks stronger on island than they do on ship and they’re RC staff.

Too pushy at the Market BEWARE! They through things in your bag and literary grab you by the arm and drag you to their stalls. The excursion we went on to the Hatti Village and private beach was wonderful!!!! Small tour so very laid back! Drinks were very reasonable and no pushy vendors vendors. The Village was very interesting and informative .

Lots of beach area and plenty of lounge chairs. Vendors were very aggressive.

Wanna return. Way better than coco Kay.

We enjoyed this port. We were no where near the unrest that was happening in Haiti and sadly, we were the last ship to dock at Labadee. Royal canceled the next few ships that were set to dock at Labadee due to the unrest. This was our first time there and it was absolutely beautiful. We didn’t do any excursions. We just had lunch and enjoyed the beach and views.

Labadee has some great beach’s and beautiful water. We did the mountain coaster this time and it had some amazing fees of the island! Having said that Labadee is not a stop I would seek out specifically. We choose this sailing because of the other ports.

Actually a really cool area with multiple beaches. The island is very clean. I really liked the Market with the locals selling their trinkets, but the locals ARE SO AGGRESSIVE. Calm down dudes!
