The person who said Labadee isn't in Haiti is incorrect, it is, in fact, in Haiti. Just not in the area of the unrest. RC hasn't announced where the cruises will be redirected to or if it will be another sea day. The last time Haiti had issues they just gave us another sea day.

Per Royal Caribbean Blog.com, they have removed Labadee through the March 14th sailings thus far and have replaced that day with either a sea day, another port, or Cococay. I sail the last week in April and have no word yet of changes. So if you aren't sailing until August.. who knows!

I believe it depends on what ports can accommodate on the particular day. Otherwise, it will be an additional sea day.

Ty everyone for your responses . Even though this trip isn’t until august , my window to change or cancel my sailing without being charged is closing so it’s a question I’ve chosen to post now in order to make an informed choice .

labadee is in Haiti It's just not where the people actually live. although people do come on the lake with their canoes and they were selling fish to the Taurus like us. We went through the ship for our excursions. You're not allowed to bring back any food on the ship such as meat and fish and vegetables.

I'm on a cruise in April to labadee and they already announced that we are going to Coco cay instead. It just depends on if nearby ports can accommodate your ship or not. Otherwise it's just another sea day.
