Half Moon Cay is a BEAUTIFUL island. The sand is soft and not very hot, and the water is very clear. I would reccomend bringing inflatable pool noodles to float with and to wear you shoes when you go get food to eat becuase the ground is hot. On the other hand, I think guests should be able to use their purchased drink cards on the island since it is owned by Carnival.

Loved this port. We were the only ship there and it was great! We dined at the BBQ by Carnival which was fabulous. they have lots of restrooms and trails that you could explore.

Half moon Cay was absolutely breathtaking. By far our favorite beach. I gave it 4 stars because of the hassle of taking a water shuttle to and from the island and because there really isn't anything to do at this island beside hang out on the beach.

Other than the people who work at this island, who act like they'd rather be doing anything else, this place is wonderful. Beautiful scenery, beautiful clear water, it's just paradise. Lunchtime food is only fuel, and nothing to write home about, but I'd eat cardboard to get to spend the day here. Take lots of pictures.

Beautiful beach. The water and sand are perfect. Watch out for rocks on sand and in water. Stubbed my toe many times. I would given this place a 5 star if you were able to use your drink package you purchased on the island. You’re using your Sail & Sign card anyway so I’m not sure why you can’t benefit for what you paid for to use on the ship. Also the food at the buffet was less than desirable. The hamburgers were red on the inside. The chicken had a good taste to it but didn’t trust eating much of it considering the hamburgers were undercooked.
