Took a bus to the beach where we swam and snorkeled and had lunch for a reasonable price.

When you get there just know that the chairs to the left are free except the striped ones in the front row. Don’t let them scam you. Water had tons of black seaweed and was sorta slimy. Margaritaville was cool. Lots of drunk people and we were there around one. Not complaining though. That’s what I was expecting. Pool is nice. Super hot so rent a cabana.

We chose to rent two golf carts for our party of 4 adults and 3 children. We originally were going to rent for 60 by a man outside the main gate, but became uncomfortable with the mans demeanor. We ended up renting inside the main cruise terminal for 100 and felt comfortable with that. We were given a map, but it was not very good. I'd suggest printing your own at home first. We did get a bit turned around, but easily found our way back. The area is still recovering from natural disaster. We found jacks shack, which was a hole in the ealll... missed it the first two times by. The food was below average, drinks were good, view of ocean was amazing, staff friendly. We did have to pay 10 to the restaurant to utilize an umbrella over the lounge chair. I was not happy about that, but my husband just wanted some shade for our 2 year old. Governors beach was magnificent .. and not crowded at all.

I would suggest if you like to snorkel buy some equipment and take it with you on this ship, because these are some great snorkeling ports. We always love grand Turk. its a huge beach and then there's a Margaritaville with a large beautiful pool.....ahhh... the best of both worlds. this isn't a shopping port, this is a beach port

the ship should make guest aware that there are beach chairs/umbrellas on the beach for them so they are not scammed into paying for one. This is money i could have used to make purchases on the ship. I loved the island, but it needs some TLC as you walk further down the beach you can obviously see the devastation of storms etc.

Rent a golf cart and drive around the island .You wont regret it! We went to the light house ,Then drove to a little spot and found over 20 huge sea shells.

This was a beach day for me. There's a nice beach, all you have to do is walk off of the ship!

We didn’t do an excursion here, because we knew we’d just have a beach day. And it was a blast! The water was the clearest here, and we put on goggles to try and see some fish, which we did! We went to Margaritaville for lunch before heading back to the ship, and the food was pretty good and the drink was strong! Very pretty port!

The water is stunning. We did the power snorkeling excursion and just wow! If you don’t do an excursion- visit Magaritaville (with pool, food, music, and the flow rider),Jack’s shack, or grab a chair and layout on the beach. I also seen jet skiing and parasailing. Yes this is paradise :)
