This is our favorite port. Great beach off the dock and Margaritaville has an amazing pool. I will say however we were very disappointed with our stop there this week because the beach was just covered in rotten sea weed and the water was full of it. Was told this is seasonal so looking forward to our next visit in 2 months. Ps... just moved over to the pool and continued to enjoy. Pss... police should do something and clear the beach of all the drug dealers!

We only got to visit Grand Turk for a couple of hours due to the rain,we made the best of our time there would have really like to have tried Jacks Shack and done a tour of the island. All in all it seemed to be a nice place.

Getting off the ship was another smooth(forgive me for using that word so often but everything about this cruise was easy and an enjoyable) encounter. Stopped at our excursion kiosk to sign in, then had about an hour to explore the port. Margaritaville was awesome, although we didn’t spend a lotta time there. Visited the space mission area. When it was time for our excursion, we met up with a group of 20. We did the Island exploration by Hummer. What a blast! It was fun driving those carts-even on the opposite side of the road!

Grand Turk is an Island in the middle of Nowhere! Seriously! It's packed full of fun. We choose a more quiet place. Took a taxi to Bohio Dive Resort. Very nice place to relax. Beautiful clear blue cool water. To do extras, like boat rides, snorkeling, etc, was vert expensive. Bartender was not overly friendly at first, but we got her to warm up to us. 😊 Food was ok. We got served the usual, BBQ chicken, warm pineapple coleslaw, and FF.

Loved Grand Turk! We arrived a bit late (again, due to weather issues) but Carnival was very organized getting those of us with booked excursions off the boat first. The island was beautiful but would have loved to be there for more than just a few hours!

I have been to Grand Turk before and I love this Island. It is great for getting souvenirs and also little trinkets for yourself and I love the fact that the chairs umbrellas and clam shells are plentiful and free. That being said I had never been over to the short side of the pier which is the rocky side before. When they say its rocky they mean its R O C K Y !!! You definitely need swim shoes just to get out in the ocean past the rocky part and be careful because if you fall on them you could cut yourself very badly on these coral rocks. Also since the storms the seaweed is massive but after you get past that you are out in the beautiful clear water and it is heavenly. We didn't do any excursion here we just enjoyed the beach did some shopping and then went back aboard and took a nap. It was lovely.

I love that we pulled up right on the beach. Walk down the beach to check out Jacks Shack for a nice drink and jerk chicken which was delicious. I hear a lot of complaints saying the beach wasn’t clean, it’s beach, it’s nature...relax and enjoy it. The water was beautiful and the sky was even prettier. I would love to return one day.

I have no idea how people could be disappointed with Grand Turk. It's our favorite spot in the Caribbean. Don't go to the beach everyone on the cruise ships go to. Instead take a taxi to Governor's Beach. Costs about $5.00 and you will have the beach all to yourself.
