Review summary

I had a great time but it was my first cruise. Don’t think I would do this particular ship again. There were some very rude passengers and the staff at guest services were not friendly at all. Too many teenagers and women wearing stuff no one should wear especially not women there size. I’m not judging because my daughter is very large but doesn’t go around half naked nobody wants to see that

Buffet was good desserts so so. Dining room desserts were very good. Absolutely loved guys burgers and the blue iguana they even fix breakfast burritos

Onboard Activities

Our cruise director MarQ was amazing. Tons of energy. Loved starting my morning on the track. Didn’t use the pools no way I would get in there with so many people.

Entertainment

Only went to PG rated comedy shows and they were good. Went to a show country road and it was almost painful to watch they just couldn’t sing country music. But saw Flick and it was much better

Service and Staff

Our room steward kintesh was awesome. Our waiters in the dining room Sahala, zainuri were great. The others around the ship weren’t real personable just kind of walked around like zombies but they worked very long hours and didn’t speak good English

The room had plenty of storage and I loved the balcony but the ship just looked tired it could definitely use a facelift

Our excursion was canceled because of tropical storm Dorian 😩but it has the most beautiful water I have ever seen it was breathtaking

Went to sapphire beach it was nice just a lot of seaweed. Cost $10 pp each way. Definitely do your shopping at this port very cheap. I didn’t and now I’m kicking myself because our stop in San Juan was canceled because of then tropical storm Dorian. FYI the driver drove like a maniac and they drive on left side of road

Definitely need to work on getting everyone down to gangway. Once there it was a pretty smooth process we chose to carry our luggage which I think sped the process up

And most of all don’t blame the ships reputation because you were on with a bad bunch of people. Rate the Breeze as a ship how was she in your opinion minus the fat folks lol. On their behalf remember they paid good money to be on the cruise too so they should be able to enjoy their vacation as well!

The fact that you’re putting comments about people’s weight in your review leads me to believe you’re probably on the more “rude” end of the spectrum your self. If you do go on a cruise again you just need to chill and let people live their life

I was on this cruise too and have been on 4 cruises before this one, all Carnival cruises and I found that this cruise had more rude entitled people than the other cruises I’ve been on. It was awful.

The key is relax and roll with it. People are rude everywhere, those people don't get it and never will. Don't let them get you down.

You will encounter rude and unfriendly ppl no matter what kind of vacation you are on. And summer cruises have the most children on them. Try going between September and April. Hardly any kids. People are on vacation. They really don't care what they wear. As you cruise more and more the dress code will get worse 😆

I agree that there are a lot of rude “entitled “ people on every ship I have been on. But that is true no matter where I go for vacation. I have met some of the nicest people while cruising!! I do hope you give Cruising another shot. Maybe a different ship but go and relax and enjoy. Happy Cruising

Yeah have to agree with the way some can barely get into bikinis 👙that shouldn't be but like others said it seems like that anywhere anymore...times a changing... Glad you enjoyed what was left on trip before the hurricane (this is hurricane season tho). Maybe give cruising another shot but RESEARCH the next one. So many people just book without thinking or researching and then wonder why they're disappointed 🤔🙉 Royal Caribbean or Holland America may be another option but entertainment isn't as much as carnival. But gotta wave 🌊 your options 😎🍹🏖️💃⛵🌴👙🍦😋

Always remember every cruise has people and they sometimes dress and do things we wouldn’t! Don’t judge ship on that because it not them who make your fun and happiness, you do!!! Hope next one you can relax a bit and enjoy yourself

I agree the positives outweigh the negatives. You are going to see "exposed" people anywhere you go. Agreed some should rethink their wardrobes but you cant let that ruin things for you.I love the idea that my room is tidied and someone else does the cooking. Withvso much entertainment on board you cant go wrong.

There are negatives with every cruise. And it doesn't matter what cruiseline or ship. But I believe the positives outweigh the negatives!
