This is our 2nd time here. We tried to do a snorkel, conch excursion. However, there was some weather rolling in, so Carnival offered a refund if we didn't want to risk it. We thought it very generous of them.

We loved Grand Turk last year and booked this cruise so we could go back. Last year we were the only ship there. WONDERFUL time. This year we pulled in second and the place was a madhouse. Nop fun at all and went back to the ship. If you are there for the beach you better hope you are first there.

Since we cruised right after the hurricanes, unfortunately we had this port taken away from us. I have been there several times, but my family hadn't- we were all disappointed.

This was my least favorite of the islands we visited. It looked like they were still hurting from the hurricane that went through here months ago. Not as nice as I hoped it would be.

I truly enjoyed this port - I wish we could have seen more of it. We went snorkeling, which was fun. Unfortunately, on our excursion, our boat ran out of gas and we had to wait awhile for someone to rescue us and when we finally got back to the pier, we had to rush back to the ship and didn't get to see much of the port.

We heard great things about scuba in Turks, but I am not certified so we did the power snorkel. The snorkeling was really amazing, but I was not a fan of the “power snorkel” machines. They got in the way of my view. The island was really nothing except port, debris and trash filled neighborhoods and beautiful beaches.

It is a very small island, however the staff from the very beginning were very informative. We did the horseback riding in the ocean, then sat by the ocean and swam, had margaritas!
