Lots of history and the price of gas was amazingly the same as current prices here in Connecticut. We toured the island to learn the history of it

Great tourist destination. Could not find anyone to recommend a good authentic Caribbean food restaurant. I kept getting steered to tourist restaurants. I was looking for the good 'old mama's type restaurant that made authentic Caribbean foods.

This was Norwegian Gems first ever stop at St. Croix. We did not take an excursion here. We walked around the town. Not much there. There were vendors near the pier selling souvenirs, clothing, hats, sunglasses, etc. Very nice people. We spent time at the beach near the pier and swam around and snorkeled. Very rocky near the shore. Water shoes are a must! If there were any reefs, they probably got damaged by the hurricane. There were a couple fish here and there. There is still damage from the hurricanes and they are still working on recovering. I believe St. Croix has a lit of potential. We are looking forward to what the future holds.
