Perhaps we could stay there more than just one afternoon...A word of caution, be sure to get your food before 1:30 p.m...A recommendation would be to disseminate the information on lunch at the island a little better to the passengers.

All beach activities with not much shadow. Biking was fun. Snorkeling: keep in mind that you have to snorkel a huge distance to see Mickey, Donald, and others in the sea. Than you still need to have some energy left to swim back to the coast. Buffet was ok. Birds flying around the lunch tables. (I do not like that). The more people throw food at them, the more birds keep coming.

The excursions on Castaway Cay are very limited right now, but the island itself was practically empty due to the limited capacity of the ship. That was a nice change from the usual atmosphere of people everywhere.

As one would expect, 2400 people descending on a large, but single, beach is crowded. But overall, Disney pulls it off. The island is well designed, staff are plentiful, and the snorkeling was great. The lunchtime barbeque left much to be desired but overall, a great day in the sun.

The island is beautiful and very well constructed. However, there was little assistance when coming in to the beach area. We would ask for assistance but most staff will tell us to ask someone else as if they did not know.

One of my favorite stops when sailing with Disney. The island is private you don’t have to worry about other travelers on the island. Beautiful views and and fun for the whole family!
