Nice area families were segregated from adults since there are two massive pools.

Be sure to check out the Dolphin House, it is truly something to see. We did a cultural tour which was interesting. We got to try conch fritters and conch salad, both very good.

Bimini itself is beautiful. However, it is obvious that they are new to receiving cruise ships. There are no shops at the port like you would see at most ports, and trying to find souvenirs that said Bimini and not just Bahamas was a difficult task. We did enjoy renting the golf cart for $60 for the day and being able to just go all over the island. I would recommend that. In addition we did the excursion swimming with the sharks which was excellent as well.

Not a lot to do. First we rode the free trolley. Found a golf cart to rent. Went to Alice town. Straw market was a joke. High prices and no deals like on other islands. Beach was beautiful. Prices at places out side of the resort world for food and drinks was pretty good. Food and drink in resort World was very high. Other than the beach nothing really to do.

Loved Bimini it’s almost got that private island feel on one side, but then you can go explore the local area as well. We choose to rent a golf cart and explore on our own. There is basically one main rode down the island so it’s easy to navigate. Be prepared to pay $100 for 2 people and a golf cart. It seems to be whatever the local wants to charge as I’ve seen videos when they first started it was at $60 then $90. This week it was $100. I imagine with more ships stopping at Bimini the “commercialization” will happen in the near future. As of right now it’s a beautiful place to get away from the normal hustle and bustle of most ports in the Caribbean these days.

We loved Bimini. Rented a golf cart at the first tram stop. We stayed away from the resort and drove in to town. Did a little shopping then went to Radio Beach. Met a young man named Wellington who took good care of us. Cold beers $5. He had beach chairs and music. We had the best time in Bimini. The locals are wonderful.

long walk off the pier, and when you arrive you have to either rent a golf cart for $60 for the day (fun!) or hire a cab to get to the shopping/beach areas. Carnival sold excursions to some of the beaches, but other passengers who paid for those told me the free beach and free beach chairs were literally 10 feet away from their 'paid' ones, which would be frustrating. We chose to take a taxi for $5 each to the Radio Beach area, and enjoyed a free beach. The Food vendor at Radio Beach had huge and VERY fresh fried shrimp available that husband enjoyed thoroughly. There was a vendor kind of hidden behind the little 'shopping' area of tshirts and keychains. They had bottled tropical flavored rum drinks for $10 each. VERY strong and delicious. Happy we found them.
