Bimini, Bahamas

Bimini itself is beautiful. However, it is obvious that they are new to receiving cruise ships. There are no shops at the port like you would see at most ports, and trying to find souvenirs that said Bimini and not just Bahamas was a difficult task. We did enjoy renting the golf cart for $60 for the day and being able to just go all over the island. I would recommend that. In addition we did the excursion swimming with the sharks which was excellent as well.

We had a private Cabana at Balmoral Island for the first half of the day. That was very enjoyable as we also got to see the dolphins. Unfortunately, the construction at the port was distracting and made it difficult to get around. In addition, the high pressure sales of people on the streets was more than I have ever experienced in the numerous times I have been to Nassau.
