This port is so beautiful we are Dominican, we felt so happy and stared dance when the ship get closer to the port and we hear our music. Also some of our family were outside waiting for us. we had a awesome time that day we our family.

We were very impressed with the Dominican Republic! We took an excursion that included lots of local flare - rum tasting, a traditional Dominican lunch at the botanical gardens, craft fair shopping, fresh coconut milk (incredible how the vendor used a machete to open those coconuts!), and a tour of the fort. Oscar was a great tour guide!

Did the Damajuagua Falls and Monkeyland excursion. Both were fantastic. I wish we had more time to hangout at pool area though. Plenty of shopping to do if that’s your thing.

Port was fantastic! Note: you have to be 48" to ride the water slides. My son was upset, but we got a float and had an awesome time at the pool. $8 for all day wifi and $12 for a big float. Free chairs everywhere!

All inclusive Coconut Cove was amazing. The guide was friendly, Logan. He provided good information about the culture and history. The food was great. The water activities and games on the beach were wonderful. The bathrooms clean and the souvenir shop was nice.

The port was nice, friendly people. We paid $80 USD and had a dedicated taxi driver for the day (for a family of four - not bad!). He took us to the Cable Car, to lunch, Central Park, San Felipe Fort, some shopping and an ice cream cone on the way back! This was a great way to actually see Peurto Plata - which was only about a 20 minute drive from the port.

Truly enjoyed Amber Cove. Our excursion included a 4 1/2 hour historical tour. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and spoke about how blessed this island was. Even as poor as this area is you easily could see the pride that everyone had for their country.
