We left the shops area and visited the island.... Those $70 all day taxis will go down to $50 and it's worth it. Make sure to visit the brugal factory any get some rum. You can drink it in the cab!

One word, Fantastic. The water, the beaches, the tour guides on our power snorkel excursion, the way the port looked, all of it was amazing. I did not do any shopping here, so cannot comment on that, but everything else was perfect.

Beautiful Beautiful port! I truly enjoyed this port, great shopping with friendly people and the lush greenery is so lovely! Nice pool, cabanas are really nice and the island is very clean! Oh you have to try the restaurant that sits there, Amazing Dominican food and friendly people with a very nice water view from the top floor. I think it was called Coco something I wish I could remember, will certainly go back!! The view of the port from the ship is breath taking! 🏝

We did Ocean World with the dolphin encounter. My family and I had so much fun! They really do a great job and was well worth the price! Then we shopped, our family fell in love with the “Hawaiian” shirts they sold in Amber Cove.

We did not do an excursion here. We got off the boat, shopped and hung out in the cruise pool resort. It was great and free!
