Nice port with plenty of excursions available but we took a taxi to shopping area, there wasn't much to pick from.

We did a resort for a day at the Jewel dunns river beach.... that was a mistake. We weren't impressed.... at all. If not booking a excursion, I would recommend just going to margaritaville and walking the shop area

Locals are very pushy and aggressive selling things do an excursion and get away from the cruise ship

We took a private excursion which was fun. We had a bar to ourselves and tried Jamaican beer. Saw where the locals lived and drank a bucket o beer at the local beach. The tour company was Tour Jamaica today. We were gone 4 or 5 hours and had a blast.

We had a lovely excursion, bamboo rafting on the Martha Brae river. The bus guide was very friendly and informative. The trip on the river was calm and laidback. Saw many bird, turtles and beautiful plants. Our guide was great at pointing out the many sights. A couple of people on our tour were in their 90s so getting down onto the raft was a challenge but the staff at the docking stations were patient and trying everything to help which was great as the couple had a lovely trip.

We did the river tubing safari and loved it. Food at the end was WAY over priced but drinks were reasonable. I think we were lucky to be in a smaller group as those that arrived on busses were in huge groups.

Dunn River Falls was great. If you're in decent physical shape and wearing proper footwear (water sandles/water shoes or even running shoes with good tread) by pass the annoying groups holding hands and climb yourself in groups of 2-4. Imo better to do so than have some wobbly 300+lb person with knee braces fall on you. Some people really should NOT be doing this excursion for their own safety and those around them.
