We did the Hop On Hop Off bus. We stopped at a shopping center then to Doctors Cave. The beach was beautiful the water felt great. I would definitely go back.

We personally dislike Jamaica immensely. We got off the ship ad shop at the ten little ( I mean very little) shops at the port and yes the taxi people during the short walk did try and get you to buy their excursions. We basically stayed on the ship all but about 45 minutes.

If you just are going to the beach DO NOT use hop on hop off bus($19) . It's not worth it . A cab will get you there for $ 6 each way. Buses are scarce during rush out when ships are in port We snorkeled at the public beach Nice reef about 50yards offshore

The traditions and taste of Jamaica was a great Excursion to be on, well planned and very pleasant. Our tour guide at the plantation was delightful and impressive. In the end, it was still about half shopping, getting the American tours money, but I was glad we took
