Booked an excursion through Daniel Johnson’s Sloth Hangout! Transportation was included and we loved seeing all the animals, especially holding the sloths! Spent the rest of our day on the beach. Take the “Magical Flying Beach Chair” over to the beach, great views for cheap!

Had a great time in the sloths, monkeys, and macaws excursion. All members of the local community were awesome and very happy to have us back. Tour operators were quite personable and knowledgeable about the country.

Beautiful place, best place to hold a sloth can’t wait to go back! Friendly staff. Perfect weather. Wish I could live here. Will be back in October 2022

This was my favorite of all the ports. WOW so beautiful and amazing. Went to The Little French Keys. It was so amazing and the water is the most beautiful ever. Take your snokel face mask with you!!!! The shops at port were fabulous too, shopped quite a few there. Mahogany wood is featured and beautifully crafted into many things. You won't be disappointed regardless of what you do here.

Love Mahogany Bay! Great Beach & Lovely Water. Enjoyed the chair lift down to the Beach, had a Clam Shell with rafts float on! Next time I'm going to get a bottle of the Chocolate Caramel Rum, I don't care what the wife says, I'll get it back home to Chicago!!!

We took the chair lift over to the beach and hung out there awhile. Then, we rented kayaks from the shop (expensive, of course). They also had other water sport equipment for rent. We kayaked along the river behind the beach, and we saw this man in a bend of the river with a netted area. My eldest son speaks Spanish from being a missionary and he asked him what he was doing. They bonded over his surprise at my son's Spanish, and the guy invited us to jump in and see. What did we see? Giant turtles! We swam with them and touched them, and it was the highlight of my cruise, really. He loves his turtles. He knows them and raises them. We called him "hombre de Tortuga," or "Turtle Man," and he loved that. He didn't charge us, but I tipped him $50 for the best hour of our cruise.

We would recommend visiting Gumbalimba Park (Monkey & Sloth Park) when at Roatán, Honduras. When our ship docked at the port we shopped around Coxen Hole before visiting Gumbalimba Park for our excursion. Gumbalimba Park was a great experience as we had learned a lot about the history of the island and interesting information about its people and vegetation. We also learned a lot about the animals that make this island home. After returning back to Coxen Hole, we decided to do a little bit more shopping for gifts and souvenirs before heading back to the ship and our cabin to end our day in Honduras.

Did an excursion found online to Little French Key and it was the highlight of our trip. All day on private island with animal rescue where you ciuld pay addtl $50 to hold a jaquar! 2 drinks, lunch included as well as paddle boards, kayaking etc. Awesome day that beat anything we found offered through Carnival
